From a Darlo fan......

Just had this sent to me from a Norwich fan. So in answer to your question, yes is started with a plank in charge one of many to be truthful.

Its a long long long story, but essentially we were granted permission to build a stadium that no fans wanted on the edge of town many years ago, the chairman at the time was a well know crook that ended up being found out and thus admin 1.

Because we know had the stadium on a prime piece of expensive land we were then taken over by a property developer, pretending to be interested in the football club, of course he wasnt and as soon as he realised he was not going to be able to sell on the ground for a pile of cash he dropped us into admin 2.

It would then appear that admin 3 has come about in the same manner that admin 2 did, property developers trying to make money and failing.

The reason it is restricted to 10,000, is by the highways agency, the routes into and out of the ground are not good enough to deal with more (so we are told, we have never had anything like 25,000 in there).

We currently have one member on the coaching staff, I believe we had 6 players at training yesterday. The players have not been paid since November and are not able to afford to get to training these days, hence the no shows. We have had numerous players leave and find jobs elsewhere as they are not being paid (which no one blames them for). Yet despite all of this we have managed to only loose 2 games in the last 9, and managed to take 650 fans to our boxing day game at Gateshead (we only get 1500 at home)

We looked screwed, no one can see a way out for us this time and seems the last game of our 128 years will be on Saturday.

The local newspaper has had to stump up the money to pay for the players coach to get the too and from the game on Saturday.

The fans are having a whip round for the players, as a sign of appreciation and also to help them out as best we can. If anyone feels like contributing anything is welcome.
