We looked good when we dumped Man Utd 2-0 and, under Roeder, when we dumped Wolves 5-2 we seemed one good player away (signing Lita?) from coming good that season.
But as it was, they were both awallows that didn't make a Summer.
Clubs often have decent results then f**k up the next one-and then they get back into a rut again. Yes, they may get their acts together and win a few games but if we win the games we are hopeful of winning, then the gap will remain the same.
