How likley is it that Tom gets anywhere near the first team?
Im guessing with the Christmas fixtures out of the way almost zero.
Maybe a run out in the cup games?
OK, because he is under 21 it doesnt cost us anything to keep him.

Have to feel If he could get a shot playing for a champs team 2nd half it would do him a world of good plus we get to see if he has a chance of making it at the PL level.

Kepping Chris Martin is a no brainer if we dont lose any strikers or get any more in. (or James Vaughan doesnt come back before the end of the window)

With the current matchday squad (and versatile defenders) we are only going with 1 defender on the bench meaning we normally need at least 4-5 strikers on match days.
If James Vaughan comes back it would seem Martin is way down the list.
