The North West Platoon of the Y'Army confidently set sail from a sunny Manchester. On the journey south, we set out our team and score predictions (mostly wrong). Arriving at Loftus Road we were delighted to find that the view was massively better than the one we enjoyed at Everton. Front row of the Upper Tier was excellent and some good noise from the Y'Army.
Not a great game, but we were mostly in control. Great save from Ruddy, Holt winding up the home support, and one marvellous strike from Pilks.
On the way home, our train failed to tilt (so we were a bit late back). But in a way, it summed up the game. Bradley Johnson didn't tilt, even with Joey Barton in his face (despite what Colin says). Neither did the rest of the team tilt as we pressed on and on. Steve Morison tilted magnificently to score the winner and there was much celebratory titling amongst us as we secured a great 3 points.
Currently sitting 9th, fantastic!
