Now I thought this was a bit of a strange comment by Lambert.
I knew this wasnt close to being right.

My OCD made me write a quick script and I came up with an average age of 26.1 years........of all the players who have started for NCFC this season. (I Included Ward and Lappin)

For the last two games, the 18 player matchday squads

vs Spurs 26.7 years

vs Fulham 26.0 years

We currently have nobody under 21 in the matchday squads.
