I thought Ayala was good yesterday

especially considering the amount of time that he has been out for. It's always difficult to tell what a manager's plans/hopes are for a player who is signed from a premier league team's reserve/youth squad. For every Scott Sinclair, there's a Lee Roche! Perhaps Lambert sees him as a genuine contender to be first choice when all are fit.
