I think there's more to Lambo's rotation that mere rotation

I think he's mixing things up, not only to suit the oppo of the day, but because he's aware that newly-promoted sides can suffer in the second half of the season when oppo coaches and players have played against us already, and know that HE always takes a touch, and HE can run offside, and HE does this or that.

Maybe the god PL is playing the long game? That might explain why Pilks has been used sparingly lately. He also might be keeping Pilks' feet on the ground.
