a lot of the 'funniness' is because you're partaking in it. Reviewing it later may seem ridiculous, but at the time it's giggly giggly.
And tbh I think the football stuff now is quite sharp, as opposed to 101 postings of what team I'd pick at the weekend which used to constitute a lot of past posts. If that's what people want then probably wrong place to be.
