I don`t want a fully commercial outfit either

I`m really talking about just a dedicated sport channel.

It cannot and shouldn`t try to compete with Sky, as that would be disastrous. It should show highlights programmes like the FLS and MOTD plus any other sporting events they can get their hands on.

It doesn`t need to broadcast 24/7. BBC3 & 4 don`t do it.

If it is paid for by advertising, it may make some of the people running the place to buck their ideas up
