a few observations/comment s about last night.......

only managed stook at hoom before going to wullufs last night, although have watched every The Nodge game live on tinternet bar everton.....

1 - stormed into the game, could have been 3 up before half time had One R connected with a couple....

2 - unlike me to be quite relaxed at wolves, normally expect us to go one or two down - but thought hey looked weak first half up front and their midfield constantly lost the ball..... however commented to ms chelts that we defo needed to go 2-0 which would have given us that breathing space we needed....

3 - ruddy looks to me like he's either nervous or had lost confidense. Ever wolves cross or corner he was a statue on his line, we always looked like conceeding as he failed to take control of the box. The FIRST time he came to collect a corner was after about 70 odd minutes I think (though could be wrong!). We cant keep relying on CB's and Holt to clear the ball. Although they're effective at blocking a header, percentages say that an attacker will pick up the loose bal to shhot. This is what happened with the wolves first goal. Was f**ked off to see a scrambled effort trickle over the line with our keeper still flat footed on his line and our centre halfs on their arses!

4 - crofts to me had a poor game. A lot of huff and puff and defo hard work covering ground, but I didnt see him do anything creative or effective other than 2 decent tackles.

5 - holt was marked out of the game. he was poor last night by his own hih standards I thought. He lost out on most long bals played towards him. I lost count number of times he tried to hold up the ball or turn his marker and he failed at both most times.

6 - Morison recieved poor service and thus looked ineffective. Not that the NFN idiot behind me could see that. Once Morison fluffed that shot on goal in the first half which would have put us 2 up he was singled out for the entire rest of the game by this f**king annoying geezer behind me. I took great pleasure in turning round to him when our second went in to remind him it was morisons play on the wing and cross that made the goal.

7 - Surman had a good game last night, and i've been quite critical of him so far this season.

8 - my POTS so far is Martin R. A right back playing centre back and holding the defence together, another outstanding performance last night.

9 - Hoolers looked brillopads again. However sometimes he tries to do too much and seems to trip over his own feet when he does those turn and turn again little moves. I suspect he feels he better not release the ball as his team mates are often stood watching..... I reckon he'd look brilliant with better players who move for him....

10 - brill game though, and although think we should have won the game, we could have easily have lost it too! A point was fair in the end and another massive away point for us.

11- M5 a c**t of trip on the way hoom. One lane for about 20 miles.
