Midfield! Midfield! Midfield!

One of the key reasons WBA stayed out wa sthat they made sure they had a strong midfield, whicgh allowed them to get away with starting Horsefield & Campobell most games and STILL looking good. Midfield is the most important area to get right because it affects both your defence and your attack. What did we do? We bought one midfielder (Safri) and tried to shoehorn two non-midfielders (Bentley & Jonson) into an area where they didn't belong. That is the most important lesson we have to learn. Midfield is crucial and that is where the bulk of the money should go (next season aand probably again if we go up). Get it right and everything everywhere else becomes a whole lot easier.
