I think anyone who analysed that game for more than a second realised that Newcastle had two midget right backs in the centre of their defence. Clearly targeting a weakness that we had spotted, but nothing to do with Krul.

Also, I think all our goals came from around the penalty spot (Crofts' header leading to the first, Holt's first header for his first, Morison's goal, and Holt's second) so not really the keeper's responsibility.
