Thoughts from yesterday

Everton had the majority of possession but I thought we played well. One of strongest defensive performances. So much so that drawing 1-1 felt like a defeat.

Great goal by Holt, one of the best he's scored.

Truly bizarre substitutions, at 1-0. We lost our flow a bit when Morison went off as he'd been having a great game. Could have been replaced by someone with a bit more pace then Wilbraham. Would rather have seen Jackson and Pilks to make that final push up front.

Very enteraining and heartening game though. Great travelling crowd in good voice. We need a better song for Morison though.
