just completely fails to pick up any new music i add to my watched folder on my NAS

even Windows f**king Media can manage to do that, my Squeezebox server seems to have started doing that about 90% of the time too, iTunes just refuses

try adding them manually and it adds everything again - so i have everything in the library twice - eventually, if i'm lucky and it gets that far after hours upon hours of waiting for it to do something, all the while looking as if it's doing nothing.

anyway, i'm going to give Spotify a shot at managing my iPod classic now
