Amusing, but the bit that stood out to me was

"We'll need everybody, not just the 18 lads ? it's the ones outside of that, or on the bench, that we need for this football team to survive."

So we won't be getting rid of Lappin, Drury and Wilbram, because he knows he can rely on them to be ready, however limited they are as footballers.
