And we have cover in an England U19 & U21 international who will one day go on to be City number 1.

I would rather see the money spent improving elsewhere. On his day Ruddy can make a mistake I admit, but so can any keeper. I'm sure Liverpool fans weren't questioning dropping Reina after the game against Fulham.
