So PL spent ?2M because as you suggest Holty can't be arsed to get up to speed for the

start of the season.

Wasn't Holt out injured for part of a pre-season, so took him a little longer to be match fit (maybe Championship season).

Morison was bought for competition / cover / options / squad / talent / scoring goals, not to be first choice whilst Holty "adjusted his attitude to pre-season".

If this was the case then wouldn't Morison have started the opening fixtures......
