I know that Shearer and Hansen are clearly very pleased with themselves

But frankly, I really have never given a flying fig how effusive or forensic they are about us or any other team for that matter.

Week after week after week after week relentless slagging because they don't know Zak Whitbread's favourite cheese or the name of John Ruddy's dentist.

Give them one live game to analyse and they are all over it. Give them seven to work through while they have their tea and I'm hardly surprised that the scrutiny of the games is spread a little thinly.

And I've not heard them speak unfairly about us once this season - not that I should care anyway.
