No, I Agree...

He is more than an old fashioned No.9.

He combines the obvious strengths with no little skill and tactical guile-and can run the channels well and deliver a pass which neither Steve Bull or Malcolm McDonald could do.

But the archtypal No.9 is how he is perceived and is the core of his game. Plus he just looks mean and someone not to be trifled with-and then he's not like that, he's got character and doesn't take himself too seriously, the excellent interview he did with PMcV showed that.

Love the guy-think a fairer comparison is David Cross.
