Anyone off of on here tried to make Delia Xmas cake as per Waitrose?

Life's too short, like wrapping a sodding Xmas present just to put it in the oven. Still feeding it with Armagnac in industrial quantities sounds good. Be doing a "Lets be 'avin' you" after that lot. Maybe that's what she were experimenting with that day!
