Thing is the till-dippers in charge at the moment have turned around and said "No, they do

n't have any influence, there's nothing to see here, look, over there, a pretty lady".

Which raises the question, if this lobby group don't have any influence, what are they actually for? Apart from providing well-paid employment for former members of HM's parliament, obviously.

It's all very murky. Which in itself shouldn't be news to anyone, really.
