The alternative is a closed shop system like the NFL where each team is capped making it a fair system.
And all revenue is shared.
Irronically its about as communist as you can get.
I hate that idea for football.
It would kill the lower leagues
This would never fly but I would suggest a couple of measures that would help grass routes football.
If a PL team buys a player from a team outside the UK/Eire, they must pay a tax which goes to lower league teams.
This might encourage the flow of money back into the British game.
Financial fair play must be based on % of income from supporters.
With wages being capped at 100% of supporter income
