Norwich Music Scene

I am mates with a very well known band and a couple of months ago I spoke to the boss of Norwich Arts Centre.

He said that he wouldn't book the band because NAC targets a young audience. He didn't even ask me how much the band would cost.

The Waterfront now has mostly tribute bands, and the UEA has the same old Jules Holland etc. every year. The same person books the bands for both venues.

The Brickmakers can't afford to pay well known bands.

The music scene is a bit crap but that it down to who books the bands.
