You don't remember the country working 3 or 4 days a week. A 4 day weekend wasn't much fun when you were only being paid 3 days. I could go on.

There's an old saying (very unfashionable these days, old sayings of course)...

"He who does not learn by history is doomed to repeat it."

I suggest you look at life during the 70's strikes. It really wasn't all boob tubes, platform heels and Studio 69.
