Negotiations are of course at the centre of this BUT when so many unions are on strike (many of which have NEVER been out befor) and there is so much unrest surely you can see people are not taking this. Approx 2/3 of people support the action, this gov is taking apart the foundation of our country. Why? Ideology. Oh and I think I probably have a basic grasp of political ideology etc. Today though was for many people Tory vs every decent public servant who wants to protect the public sector.
