NetBook easier for when you need to type but tablet is instant on, longer battery life,

Nicer screen and quicker access to info because of the App and multi touch interfaces.

Also tablets like the iPad are designed for video playback and suited as ebook readers (not quite Kindle yet but still good enough).

Downside of tablets are typing. Nowhere near as easy on a virtual keyboard although I am getting more used to it. But f I wanto to do some basic word or excel stuff I used my NetBook. Anything more serious I use either my win7 laptop if mobile, but preferably my iMac.

So yeah. Manufacturers have managed to convince me that I need four devices (5 if you count the iPhone). Used to be happy just with one windows Lappy !
