You'd expect more and better from Fergie.

Senior statesman of the game, Knight of the realm, his peers all look up to him. It wasn't that bad a question-might have been worded differently (are the standards of the game improving all over Europe, just as they seem to be in this country?) but walking out, smiling, as if the questioner is a complete idiot...no no no.

They have struggled in their group this season-a few years back they'd have qualified with a couple of games to play. Now Braga might put them out-yet he seems to think that question merits him walking out?

Poor one Fergie.
