I'm a bit embarrassed about the stick I gave Theo on here a wee while back

yes he did slaughter Mad Marc yesterday, but I think the shape was as much to blame - we've become used to Naughts and Benno, and Marc and Pilks, attacking and defending as a pair. I'm not sure where Pilks was playing yesterday: I think he was supposed to be supporting Mogga, but kept being dragged back into MF because we couldn't get near the ball.

Either way, both FBs looked exposed. But this was more due to the Arse being brilliant than any of our players being crap, I feel. We can be a little down at the gap in class but I don't think we should feel too bad about any individual.

Although I did have bad thoughts about Crofts, a couple of times, while the game was on.

They did their best; Arse were a lot better; Van persie is sheer quality.
