Life's too short

I caught up on the first two Life's Too Short episodes yesterday. I had extremely high hopes as I'm a massive fan of The Office and a big fan of Extras but I was extremely disappointed. I thought it was rubbish to be honest with you!

The bits that are just Warwick Davies are okay, although he's basically playing David Brent in dwarf form. The parts in Gervais/Merchant's apparent office are ridiculous though and totally unnecessary - I just don't get it. It wouldn't happen in Warwick Davies' life - just very staged to get some stars in. The Neeson thing was weird and the Depp storyline even worse.

Thinking about other storylines, the bit when the local reporter interviewed Davies at the convention was terrible, as was his best man's speech. It was too unbelievable and cringeworthy.

I'll give it one more episode but wont bother watching the last 4 if it doesn't improve.
