tbf....

I paid for a brought a bunch of NCFC shares in 2002, not because I wanted to make money out of it, but because the club I love needed fans money to stay afloat.... i saw it as a donation that I'd never see back and to be fair to the club, they've given me free membership each season since....so indeed, in the long term i AM getting something back. Similar to the pubs thinking to get some money.....!
