35K would probably work but.........

it would take quite a while to break even if you include the loss of revenue while construction is going on.

I dont think Bowkett is 100% convinced we could fill it.

He said as much, by saying they would have to be 100% certain before they could go ahead.

Projected revenues are currently in the 65M top end this season.

The extra capacity would boost this to 68M-70M at most if we filled every seat in all 19 matches

That doesnt include the 20M (+interest) we would have to shell out for the new stand.

You can see why they would have to be certain of filling it every week to make it worthwhile.

The facts are that for some of the games tickets are going on general sale, which means not even super members and ST holders are taking up the demand at current capacity.

That is good pointer.

There is also the factor of supply and demand.

While tickets are currently hard to get, there is a hunger for casual fans to get tickets.

Its the strange analogy of niteclubs who deliberatly create lines outside to make the venue appear desirable.

Because people cant get tickets to NCFC........they want tickets......
