Did somone steal Tombs password?...... But seriously........

32,000 wouldnt work financially, I dont think even 35,000 works.

Lets assume we can bring up the capacity to 28,000 with the hotel corner infill.

filling an extra 4000 tickets a game over 19 home games is (assuming 30 quid per person in revenue of ticket plus beverages/food) is only about an extra 2.3 million a year.......

The stand would cost at least 20M (lets assume 25-30M with interest)

That would take a huge amount of time to just break even, that doesnt even include loss of revenue due to construction.

From the comments of the board they are optomistic but as Bowkett rightly said........ they have to be certain.

We also have to face the realistic prospect of relegation.

It would seem by far the most sensible option is the one the club is taking.

Invest in the team/pay down debt over the next 3 years and see where we are at?

I love it when the people in charge like Bowkett and Mc Nally talk about risk/reward.

They really GET IT.

Some clubs are just too nitty (Burnley) some just went stupid with out a rich owner (Portsmouth)

Our board has always understood that we have to spend on the pitch to increase our revenues. (risk/reward)

Even in LG1 they asked creditors for payment holidays so they could spend on the team.

(they knew they had to get out of LG1 ASAP to survive)

It was incredibly ballsy in one aspect but the alternative was admin anyway so the risk/reward was worth it.
