Yes, Mozzers sold it off when they bought out Safeway.

That part of the city is a bit odd as far as poshing it up is concerned. If you didn't know about that, you probably also don't know that the Wards Brewery on Eccy Road has been knocked down and replaced with modern "luxury executive apartments". Also just behind safeway they've knocked down a bunch of the old derelict buildings and replaced them with a Greens health club and all sorts like that. So you have thought that that area would be going up in the world a bit, but it's still surrounded by the high-rise flats at the bottom of Sharrow and the horrible horrible estate the other side of Eccy road next to the ring-road. So all-in-all they've given the area a face lift, but they stopped short of the barbed-wire fences they'd need to keep all the scumbags out that live around it.

Now, Waitrose. Nothing against it in principle, it's just that when I went in there (the Ecclesall Road one) to get some flour, normal common white plain flour, they didn't have any. 18 different types of f**king Porcini mushrooms, yes, and every possible variety of quails eggs, but no chuffing plain flour. How wrong is that?
