Same here

Villa was first for me this year but it was a good day out. Beer and cards on the train then onto the Shakespeare to meet up with mates from Stoke and then onto ground in the top teir. F**k it was steep for goal celebrations. If you ever stood on the side terrace where the Birmingham lads used to gather before the seats went in....well, it was close to that. Young guy behind said "watch out if we score I'm coming on down" but when Pilks got the first he actually shot past us to two further down. The smoke bomb stunk! Was a bit mental but good fun goading the knobs in the Villa end.

The guys bought bottles of Port (I was on water at that point) and beers at Ely Tescos on the way back and had drunk the Port in twenty minutes so they'll be some sore heads today.

For me once an away game is over now I want to be back home so probably won't do many more this season. Its an age thing having been doing aways for so many frigging years and to be honest I don't miss it.

Agree with your comments about Barnett and Naughton. Until Bradley went off I thought we looked superb, especially the first 20 mins.

Looking at the next few games I think we'll soon be down in the dogfight but I don't blame anyone at the club its just the financial power of the other sides. Bent cost ?24m and our side cost something like ?8m so we know its going to be tough.

What we've achieved is fantastic and everyone at Carrow Road have worked to give me pride back in my club. OTBC
