A lot of our fans have an emotional attachment to these players

due to the heroics of the past 2+ years. It's easy to view their actions with rose tinted glasses when they've already done so much for us. I know this feeling because I probably used to be ignorant to Green and Drurys numerous mistakes by overlooking their weaknesses and hoping they would be good enough. Green never was good enough for England and Drury was just a champs defender. Sometimes it' better to be a realist.
