I disagree with that, a bit

I think he spent all that money on Vaughan because he wanted the option of playing 4-4-2, with a bit of pace alongside a big man up front.

If he rated Jackson, he'd still have that option, and Jackson would get some games. But he doesn't really. Not enough anyway. And I think we sort of learned that last seasn, despite the little run Jackson got at the end.
