I want to talk about a Yellalee post...... its not the one you think it is.......

I actually think it will be huge plus for the British game if both us and Swansea stay up as both have bought from the lower divisions.

I think what clubs in the PL might begin to realize is that they have zero chance of competing with the Man city's of this world.

Some have bought 2nd rate foreign talent on huge wages which is still not as good as the top 6 teams.

When those players dont work out the managers feel pressured to play them because of the wages they earn.

I think for the long term health of the game there has to be reasonable wage structures in place.

To me it seems like Dave Whelan at Wigan has almost accepted their fate and is looking to trim the wage bill in preperation of possible relegation?

Long term too many clubs have overspent on foreign talent which means the money isnt flowing down through the lower leagues.

Hopefully Norwich and Swansea will reverse that trend.

The downside is........our success hurts us because other teams will now look more closely at players Paul Lambert is after.

I doubt many PL teams have even looked at players in LG 1 for talent in the past 3 years.

I doubt the top 6 teams even bother with the champs much.
