I love that pass. Would have been so easy for Fox to have just lumped it forward, given the clock ticking. Or altwernatively, to just do the obvious thing and stick it straight out wide to whoever was it was out on the left.
Instead, he played a perfectly-weighted, eye-of-the-needle, Xavi-esque pass straight to Surman's feet. Then as you say, lovely flick, and hey-ho we're in on the keeper. Two passes, unlock a defence.
I really like Fox at the moment.
