can totally understand that. One of my closer colleagues at one time (until he moved back to St. Lucia) came out one night as a creationist, despite not being particularly religious which was the oddest standpoint I've known really !

We discussed it until it was clear that it was an impossible argument and so I just stepped out of it while others argued on. But we just avoided the subject from then on and no problem !
