I'd just like to add on the point on Winners and Losers regarding Grant Holt's amazing ascendency into top flight football. Before his English football career, he had a stint in Singapore with a bottom feeder club, Sengkang Marine, which came about after the coach of the club invited him to play for them after he impressed at a park game. To put things into perspective, Sengkang Marine would probably struggle against your non-league clubs - they were truly the plankton of a plankton league.

Imagine that. A weekend warrior playing park football in Singapore to outmuscling John Terry and Jamie Carragher in the Barclays Premier League in a span of a decade.
