Thoughts on Saturday

I was sat just above the fantastic travelling fans and I have to say you were immense - would have loved to have been in there but instead had to bite my tongue when Holt scored to save a kicking!!!

As well as the great support I thought the team played very well, Hoolahan not afraid to run with the ball, Pilkington getting stuck in, Morison knocking down plenty of headers, Ruddy quality saves and Barnett was simply immense and my MoM.

The home support was awful, couldn't hear anything even from the Kop and didn't see any movement to suggest there was actually any singing. I also went with my mate to watch the Liverpool v Birmingham match in April and made observations to him at the time how quiet the ground was.....it had got worse if anything since then. Passionate Liverpool fans, bollox!

Couple of great chants 'Suarez is a c***', 'Carroll is a pikey' - think thats what it was although my mate thought it was something else.

Suarez is a plank and should be ashamed, best part was in the second half when he didn't get a decision and practically lied on the ground kicking and hitting the floor.

Think that if Carroll had started we'd have lost the game (although we perhaps should when he missed his header right at the end), when he came on his presence really cuased his problems.

All in all, a good weekend certainly had a good night out on Friday in the city centre!!!
