Yeah of course you can get 'it'!

They're great.
Their whole oeuvre is brilliant, even the early stuff (Where Angels Play, Sally Cinnamon etc...)
The first album (The Stone Roses) was the greatest thing ever, combining psychedelia, blues, dance and that.
The second album (Second Coming) is heavily Led Zep influenced, but don't let that put you off, it's still quite fab (although I may be in a minority here). It's pretty f**king groovy, in fact.
Combined with great musicianship, the best drummer ever, great lyrics and you have le tits. Even though Brown can't sing very well, he's still a fantastic frontman.
