whether signed up with an agenc or not, if the employer they place you with offers to take you on full time then I'd go for it and sod the consequences....
I'm sure your new employer would settle out of court and in the event of going to court no judge in the country would approve any contract that stopped a person from gaining permanent employment. Most of these clauses arent worth the paper they're written on!
One of my former employers got a monk on whe i left for a competitor, so much so writing me a personal threatening legal letter warning of a clause I had signed 4 years before that IF i approached any of my former clients with a view of taking business from them they'd sue me. My new companys lawyer laughed and said that this clause was "prohibitive to earning a fair living in a fair competitive business" - I went on to take some 25% of my old business, and I never heard another word.....
go for it. f**k'em.
