What happened was that we enforced our clever wage cut structure so all our good players f**ked off. But at least we were safe from the dreaded high wage bill!! Clever Doomcaster!!

But then they agreed to let Worthy spend almost as much in wages on the s**tty players he'd picked up on frees:
