When he left, nobody has ever criticised it after (even the countless times I've mentioned Gunn's copycat transfer dealings, it was seen as ok)

It's just something to cane Roeder about, and became abundantly true when people didn't factor Gunn's loans into the accounts

Seeing as the accounts have been released, I still note that there's been very little comment about what's been spent on players (because no ones bothered, as we're winning)

Conclusion, fans look for stuff when they don't like someone, and then in numbers, cognitively latch onto it as the definite reason/failing
