Played league pool in some right dodgy dives... The Southall

was on Southall Road, frequented by the notorious Bernie McCarthy; The Larkman; The pub that used to be on Woodcock Road (full of pikeys and pigeon fanciers... "Kings Head"??; The Philidelphia; The Quebec; The Canary, on Heartsease (sure they modled the pub in shameless on it).
The Otter in Thorpe Marriott is another one.
