Gemma chose to play golf as opposed to trek up from London with the Capital Canaries to watch City play as she was representing Middlesex junior girls in a county match.
She's been having a few problems putting so last Sunday we spent an hour practising trying to get ten puts in a row from around eight feet. After 30 minutes or so she managed ten and then proceeded to the next 74 puts in a row in for 84 in a row.
Yesterday she had a crucial put on 16th from the same distance; around eight feet, as did her opponent. There was quite a crowd (well 10 or so of the County organisers and parents) and Gemma drilled it in. Her opponent missed and this put her two up with two to play.
They won the next hole and (almost) like City won 3&1.
