Swans fans on their trip to FCR

Time to remove the rose tinted spectacles and embrace reality. This wasn't Chelsea or Man City today.I cannot see us winning a game away from home this season.
--
I wouldn't go that far but it is a reality check. It's easy to get up for the first 3 away games and they probably went easy on us because they didn't see us as a threat.

Norwich were better than us last year and are still better than us this year. Purely down to the fact that they create chances and score goals regularly.

If we were in awe of the teams we played in the first three away games we were if anything too casual about Norwich today. They did a job on us and I'm really gutted about the way we were beaten today.
--
To be fair (and calming down) you're right about the way we lost. To concede in 40 secs is unreal. Then to concede 2 from set pieces is just basic. The thing that worries me is that we've been unable to defend set pieces for years and nothing changes.

People will still say that we had good possession. It's just a shame that meaningless passes don't get you any points...

I didn't expect us to get anything today but I just feel we didn't give ourselves a chance, which is the most frustrating thing.

Sadly, Norwich weren't even that good.

They scored a free header sandwiched in between a player scoring unmarked from 6 yards out and another player scoring unmarked from 6 yards out. They looked threatening from hitting the ball into the corner and getting balls into the box. We failed to deal with that all game.

It worries me that we can defend so well at home and against the top teams in the division but make mistakes away that a third team in the Swansea Saturday league would be ashamed of.

Dobbie looks terribly out of touch with the Prem. Liking a touch too many and making poor decisions. He has always been like that but it is making itself more evident in the Prem (Even though Norwich haven't improved a great deal from last year). The worst thing about it that our only option there until January is a winger who we've shoehorned in there. A winger shoehorned in there who offers little in the way of goal threat and offers zero genuine creative spark.

We created nothing and the only positive I can take from today is that Graham scored and played excellent and will probably keep some criticism away from his door for a couple of games.

Norwich looked pretty good from what I saw they passed well attacked strongly with more pace and desire and when they didn't have the ball they harried and pressured us until they got it back, totaly nuilified our midfield for me.

--
Fair enough, personally I felt we made them look a lot better than they were.

The pressed and harried a lot for the first 20 minutes from the front but after that they were getting men behind the ball (Probably a lot down to being ahead and not having to do it) and their pressure was being exerted in their own half. We deal with that on a game to game basis.

They were always going for the corners and the wings with balls being into the box their main focus. We failed to deal with that all afternoon.
