On the replay his eyes were fixed on the player, meaning what he did was intentional, but was probably because he was pumped up and playing to win
But, the second he did it, he snapped out of that zone, and there was just instant regret. He knew he was going too, but the way he shook the refs hand and tried to apologise to the player. I thought that deserved some kind leniency
It wouldn't surprise me if an appeal got it to 2, because 2 is fair. It'll be a shame if it stands at 3 for that
But then, how many hideous incidents in the prem, and for us have stood, bewildering clubs and fans?
