Re techy help from earlier

bit the bullet and took it to a shop - he had it for less than 30mins - stated windows was totally corrupt so put it in again - done something with the drives blah blah blah charged me ?40 for the privelage. switched it on back at work and everything that was on there has now gone - let me daughter know who's pooter it is and she now hates me with a passion. Love being a technophobic DAD and thanks to all those who replied earlier
